Trenkot (BNA) Twenty-five Taliban fighters were killed in an air strike conducted by security forces in Arzegan.
The Taliban were targeted last night when they attacked military checkpoints in Dehrawood district.
The Special Operations Corps said in a statement that 25 Taliban insurgents, including several Pakistani fighters, were killed in the airstrike.
The corps says the Taliban were targeted just as they attacked security bases.
The Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.
