Asadabad City (BNA) Up to 23 Taliban militants including their local commander were killed and 15 others were wounded following air strikes led by Afghan air forces in eastern Kunar province.
According to information of 201 Sylab army corps to BNA, the air raids carried out in various parts of Shigal district of the province.
The militants wanted to attack on Afghan security forces checkpoints in the district, which timely targeted and killed by Afghan air forces, the source added.
