Kunduz (BNA) Twelve Taliban insurgents were killed in an airstrike in Kunduz and six others were wounded.
Hadi Jamal, head of the Pamir 217 Corps press office, told BNA that the Taliban were targeted by airstrikes of security forces after gathering to attack security and defense checkpoints in Imam Sahib District of Kunduz.
Twelve insurgents were killed and six others wounded in the airstrikes, and a number of weapons, two bases and three strongholds were destroyed, Jamal added.
