Aibak (BNA) Nineteen Taliban insurgents were killed in airstrikes in the Dara-e- Suf Bala , Samangan yesterday evening.
Abdul Munir Rahimi, spokesman for the Samangan police chief, told BNA, two airstrikes on Taliban targets in the central Dara-e-Suf district of Samangan province killed 19 members of the group.
Rahimi added that 11 other insurgents were wounded in the attacks, and that two of their positions were destroyed with some of their weapons.
