Taliban Mine Factory Destroyed in Kandahar

Kandahar (BNA) A Taliban mine factory in Kandahar was destroyed by the country’s air force.

Eight armed Taliban were killed in the attack.

According to reports, the eight armed Taliban were make mines that were targeted by security forces and killed.

The factory was located in a village called Shuin in Arghandab district, where it is now evidence of counter-terrorism operations.

A senior Special Operations Corps official told BNA that a Taliban mine making factory was destroyed in the airstrike.

Thousands kilograms of explosives and explosive devices were also reportedly destroyed in the airstrike.

The Taliban import most of their explosives from Pakistan, making bombs, mines and suicide vests, and using it’s in their attacks in Afghanistan.
