Lashkargah (BNA) Nine Taliban rebels were killed and three others have been injured in afghan security forces raids in Helmand province this morning.
The Taliban were targeted in parts of Desho and Gereshk districts.
ANA top commander in south of the country told BNA, nine insurgents were killed and three others have been injured in the raids.
According to reports, two strongholds of the Taliban with all war equipment have been destroyed.
Another report says, a series of blasts were prevented in Helmand province.
Security officials with collaboration of people discovered eight mines from crowded ways of the province and prevented from series of blasts.
Local officials of Taliban blamed Taliban for the failed mine planting.
Taliban mostly plated bombs and mines on busy roads of the province, which victimized innocent civilians.
