Qala-e-Naw (BNA) Local officials of Badghis province said, ten Taliban rebels were killed and 12 others have been injured in Qala-e-Naw-Herat highway last night.
Jamshid Shahabi spokesman for Badghis governor told BNA, Taliban wanted to storm on police checkpoints in Qala-e-Naw-Herat highway to capture the highway, but faced with resistance of police forces, with killing of 10 Taliban rebels and injuring of 12 others, the Taliban were forced retreat the site.
He added, six policemen were martyred and four others were injured in the conflict.
