Lashkargah (BNA) A Taliban red unit commander was killed while planting a mine on the intersection of Marjah and Nad Ali districts public roads.
Fawad Aman, Deputy Spokesman for the Ministry of Defense, told BNA that Mullah Omar, the important commander of Taliban red unit for Marjah district, was with another Taliban when they wanted to detonate a mine for killing civilians and security forces in the crossroads of Marjah and Nad Ali districts, the mine exploded and killed them.
In this incident, 1 motorcycle and 2 weapons were also destroyed.
