Khost (BNA) A U.S. military base has been hit by missile strikes.
The base, located in the former airfield of Khost, last night, witnessed the collision of at least five missiles.
A security source in Khost, who denied his named contacted BNA, confirm the rocket attack on a US military base in the province.
He blamed armed Taliban for the attack.
The Taliban claimed responsibility for the rocket attack, but said they had targeted Afghan troops.
So far, no casualties have been reported from the incident.
The US military has not yet commented in this regard.
