Herat (BNA) Armed Taliban shot and killed a government official in Herat.
The government official was from Farsi district and his family was transporting him to Herat city for treatment yesterday.
He was taken down from a motorbike on the way by Taliban and set on fire in front of his family.
Herat Governor Seyed Wahid Qatali confirmed the incident in an interview with BNA, saying that the sick man was a civil servant in a government office.
The Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.
