Aibak (BNA) Taliban shadow governor for Bamyan was killed along with 40 other Taliban in Dara-e-Sof of Samangan yesterday evening.
Mohammad Hanif Rezaei, spokesman for the 209th Shaheen Corps, told BNA that Mawlavi Anas, the shadow governor Taliban, was killed along with his 40- companions in an airstrike in Dara-e-Sof Bala and Paen districts.
Rezaei added that 13 other Taliban militants were wounded in the incident, and 15 vehicles and a large amount of their weapons were destroyed.
Mawlvi Anas was responsible for the fighting in the Dara-e-Sof Bala and Paen districts.
