Taliban Strongholds Destroyed in ASF Air Strikes

Kabul (BNA) Two Taliban hideouts were destroyed last night in air strikes in Shirin Tagab and Dolatabad districts of Faryab.
A source in the Shaheen Army Corps in north told BNA that seven militants were killed and nine others wounded in the attacks.
He said two vehicles loaded with Taliban weapons were also destroyed in the attacks.
Security officials in Logar say nine Taliban insurgents were killed in clashes between the Taliban and security forces.
Logar police chief Gul Haidar Ahmadi told BNA that the Taliban were killed when they attacked security checkpoints in Qala-e-Joma of Logar.
Ahmadi added fifteen other armed Taliban were wounded in this clash.
According to the source, during the operation, a rocket launcher, a pistol, a Kalashnikov and a large number of Taliban weapons were seized by security forces.
The Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.
