Jalalabad (BNA) Security forces destroyed two key Taliban strongholds in Haska Mina district, Nangarhar last night.
Nangarhar media office said in a statement that the strongholds were identified in a special military operation in the middle of the night and were destroyed with all their weapons.
The Taliban are said to have used the strongholds as command and construction centers for bombs, mines and suicide vests.
There were also casualties among the Taliban in the operation, but the exact number is not yet clear.
