Kabul (BNA) Thirty-five armed Taliban were killed in Badakhshan last night.
The press office of the 217 Pamir Corps told BNA that the Taliban attacked from four directions on Feyzabad in Badakhshan, which faced with strong resistance of security and defense forces and popular mobilizations, killing 35 Taliban insurgents.
Twenty-five other Taliban insurgents were wounded in the clashes, and a number of Taliban were captured by security troops and some of their weapons were destroyed, he said.
