Lashkargah (BNA) Seventeen armed Taliban were killed in Helmand yesterday.
Lashkargah security official told BNA that the Taliban were killed in an attack by the country’s air force on a rally in the central city of Lashkargah in central Helmand.
He said three Taliban insurgents were wounded in the airstrikes and their weapons were destroyed.
According to another report, five armed Taliban were killed in Balkh yesterday.
Spokesman for the 209th Shaheen Corps told BNA that the Taliban killed and three others wounded in airstrikes in the Shulgara district of Balkh province.
It is said that during the attack, some weapons and two vehicles of the enemy were destroyed.
