Kandahar (BNA) Ten member of Taliban, who are said to have been involved in several deadly terrorist incidents in Kandahar, have been arrested.
These individuals were identified and detained during a special operation by national security forces overnight in the city and a number of Kandahar districts.
Kandahar security source told BNA that ten insurgents were involved in targeted assassinations, landmines and bombings and attacks in parts of Kandahar.
Several weapons were seized from the detainees.
In the first investigation, the detainees confessed to several targeted assassinations through shootings, landmines and bombings in Kandahar.
The Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.
