KABUL (BNA) The Cabinet meeting of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan held presiding by Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhand, Prime Minister.
At the start, Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Deputy Prime Minister, presented the work report of the Organizational Commission, and after discussing the decisions of the commission, have approved.
Afterward, regarding the activities of the Attorney General of bureau, determining the fate of the cases of former Mujahidin prisoners who were in the previous administration, and deciding on the confiscated property, and other issues were discussed and decided.
The Attorney General of bureau as well instructed to initiate an investigation into the cases of corrupt officials in that department and to report to the next Cabinet.
The cabinet meeting also instructed a delegation led by the Ministry of Finance to review the issue of humanitarian aid exemptions and present the outcome to the cabinet meeting.
The Economic Commission, meanwhile, has been tasked with scrutinizing the issue of buildings erected on angry government sites.
