The latest Earthquakes along with Floods killed almost 100 Citizens

Kabul (BNA) Officials at the ministry of accident affairs states, that at least 92 people get killed in recent floods and earthquake incidents in the country.
According to BNA, Mohammad Nasim Haqqani, Director of Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of State for accident combat, said since 03 January 2022 38 people have died and more than 54 get injured in 10 of the provinces of the country in earthquakes, floods and rains in the country.
According to Haqqani; During this time more than 54,000 residential houses have been partially or completely damaged.
He says the government ministry has assisted 50,000 afghanis in cash to each family of the dead and 25,000 afghanis to each injured family, food and non-food items have been distributed to each of the families.
The director of information and public relations of the Ministry of accidents affairs said, the ministry, in cooperation with relief organizations and institutions, has distributed food and non-food items to nearly 10,000 affected and needy families in the country until last week. For the sake of managing the situation, it has sent food and non-food items and cash to the provinces of the country.
According to Nasim Haqqani; The Herat-Badghis highway has been closed to traffic since yesterday, but their units are working to reopen the roads to traffic.
According to him, due to heavy snowfall, most of the traffic crossroads are being closed such as Kabul-Jalalabad and roads which connect Bamyan to other provinces.
Meanwhile, the leadership of the Ministry of State for accidents combat has assured it’s committed to treating sufferers equally thoroughly of the country.
