Lashkarga (BNA) Thirteen armed rebels were killed in a clearing operation conducted by security forces in Gereshk district, Helmand province.
Omar Zwak spokesman of Helmand governor said BNA, the operation carried out for clearing of insecure regions in Gereshk district, in which 13 rebels killed.
Zwak said, 350 mines were discovered and seized in the operation.
The source added, the operation continuing for 4 days and there were no casualties to state forces.
According to another report, four mine planters of Taliban were arrested by police in Paktia province yesterday.
Colonel Zalmai Oryakhail police chief of Paktia said BNA, four Taliban wanted to plant a roadside mine in Zazi region, Samkani district, were identified and arrested by police. T. Suraya-Yarzada
