Mazar-e-Sharif (BNA) Thirty Taliban militants were killed in a landmine explosion in Balkh.
Mohammad Hanif Rezayee, spokesman for 209 Shaheen Corps, told BNA that the Taliban had gathered to learn how to make mines at a mosque in Qultaq village, Dolatabad district, Balkh province, when one of the mines exploded and killed them.
Rezayee added that 30 armed Taliban, including six foreign nationals, were killed in the incident.
