Aebak (BNA) The Central Afghanistan Welfare committee (CAWC) distributed cash to more than a thousand poor and drought-stricken families in Samangan today.
Mohammad Dawoud, head of the provincial office of the CAWC or Central Afghanistan Welfare Committee, told BNA, that Norway’s country had distributed about $85,000 in cash to 1,300 poor families in the center and districts of Firuz Nakhchir and Sultan of Samangan.
He said the office has distributed one tent and one plastic trellis to 5,500 families, to each family eighty-five dollars, and to one hundred and fifteen families for another eighty-five dollars, one tent and one plastic trellis.
