Thousands of Schoolchildren Access to Clean Drinking Water

Ghor (BNA) With the construction of water supply networks in three schools in Ghor, thousands of students gained access to clean drinking water for the first time.

These networks were built by the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development at a cost of 3,200,000 Afghanis for schools in Dolat Yar district and Firuzkuh city.

An official from Rural Rehabilitation and Development office of Ghor said that with the opening of the three water supply networks, nearly 3,000 students get access to clean drinking water.

Ghor education officials welcomed the construction of the networks, saying that previously, students had been suffering from diseases due to the use of unclean water.
