Jalalabad (BNA) National security officials announced the arrest of three members of ISIS group in Nangarhar.
The ISIS members were arrested last night in two separate operations in Rudat district of Jalalabad.
The two arrested detainees, members of the Targeted Assassination Network, were also charged with holding prisoners and caring for the wounded.
The National Security sources reported in a newsletter that the ISIS operatives were engaged in terrorist activities in Nangarhar when they were identified and detained.
An ISIS member who has been blamed for holding prisoners and caring for the wounded continues to be the main culprit in the recent deadly attack on the ANP base in Chaparhar district, an incident that left eight soldiers dead.
The ISIS group has not yet said anything about this.
