Jalalabad (BNA) A female doctor killed and at least two others were injured in two explosions in Jalalabad, central Nangarhar.
The blast occurred in two central points of the city.
The female doctor was reportedly on her way to her office at Nangarhar Central Hospital when her car was targeted by an explosion.
Nangarhar police spokesman Farid Khan told BNA that a female doctor working in obstetrics and gynecology department of Nangarhar provincial hospital was killed and two other civilians were injured in the blasts.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the blasts, but local sources have blamed Taliban for the blast.
The blasts took place just two days after the assassination of three female media workers in Jalalabad city, the capital of Nangarhar.
