Kunar (BNA) Two members of the Taliban, one of whom is said to be a Pakistani national, were detained during a military operation in Kunar.
Mullah Abbas Pakistani insurgent and Mullah Salim, a citizen of Kunar, Afghanistan, were arrested late last night while carrying out terrorist activities in outskirts of Asmar district bazaar.
Selab Army Corps in east of the country said in a news release that the two terrorists were carrying out terrorist activities and were arrested by security forces.
The Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.
