Kabul (BNA) A vehicle full of explosive materials has been seized by security forces in Farah province.
Jawed Kakar, spokesperson of Farah police chief told BNA, National police forces discovered and seized a vehicle full of explosive materials in relevant areas of Kansank region, Farah city.
Kakar said, armed oppositions wanted to use the materials in terrorist activities.
The Source added, the driver of the vehicle is resident of Shewan, Balablok district also has been arrested.
The case is under investigation.
According to another report: Four armed Taliban killed during a special operation of Afghan National Army forces in Kandahar province yesterday.
The defense ministry press office said BNA, Afghan national army forces launching clearing operation in relevant areas of Maiwand district of Kandahar province killed four armed insurgents and wounded two.
In the operation an amount of heavy and light weapons captured.
According to another report, ANA forces while carrying out their duties in relevant areas of Sayed Abad district of Maidan-Wardak province captured a quantity of ammunitions, explosive materials, heavy and light weapon.
