Jalalabad (BNA) A women’s bakery and handicraft factory started operating in Nangarhar.
The factory was built by the International Organization for Migration with an initial capital of 30,000 US dollars in the Sourkhrod district.
Mohammad Mohsen Hassan, head of Nangarhar Industry and Trade, told BNA that the factory has the ability to produce dozens of women’s handicrafts daily.
Dozens of workers are currently working on the 22 machines in the factory.
The bakery and production equipment of this factory is to be sold in Nangarhar markets.
Officials at the factory, who are returning citizens, say they are working to increase production and bring their products to markets in the capital.
