Bamyan (BNA) Defense and security forces recaptured Saighan district of Bamyan from Taliban yesterday.
According to local correspondent of BNA, the Bamyan governor’s press office said in a statement that a clearing operation launched by Bamyan governor Mohammad Tahir Zuhair in Saighan district at midnight cleared the Saighan district from Taliban militants yesterday.
The source added that many casualties were inflicted to armed Taliban during the operation.
