Heart (BNA) Twenty-five Taliban insurgents were killed in the latest airstrikes in Herat, and ten others were wounded.
The attacks took place from last night until this morning, on Taliban rally in Zawl district.
Herat police source told BNA that 25 Taliban insurgents were killed and ten others were wounded in the airstrikes.
He said the Taliban were preparing to attack military bases, which were targeted.
The dead were identified as Mullah Karim, Mullah Samad and Malanjib, senior Taliban commanders in Herat.
The Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.
