Drinking Water Supplied To Three Hundred Families in Uruzgan

Trenkot (BNA)  A water supply network was built in Uruzgan at a cost of three million Afghanis.

According to BNA, this water supply network was built by the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development with the financial support of UNICEF at a cost of three million Afghanis from the rural water supply and sanitation program in Trenkot, central of Uruzgan.

The project is said to include drilling a water well, building a protective wall for solar panels, an elevated water storage, installing eighteen solar panels, installing a nearly four-kilometer-long pipe and other essentials.

With the opening of this water supply network, drinking water was provided to three hundred families.
