Afghanistan Needs Modern Weapons: Dostum

Kabul (BNA) The first vice president General Abdul Rashid Dostum in meeting with Czech defense minister Martin Srob Niski here yesterday said that Afghanistan needs modern weapons for its national security forces.
The vice president also thanked Czech Republic for its contribution in rebuilding process of Afghanistan. During the meeting, the vice president stated that Afghanistan for having modern weapons needs the cooperation of Czech Republic. The Czech dignitary in the meeting said his country besides supporting the national unity government is also closely monitoring the developments in Afghanistan and hoping the country to overcome the challenges. According to another report, the first vice president in meeting with Enayatullah Babur Farahmand the head of the commission for “Sport to all” said that the government would pave the way for the development of sport in the country.
