1 ‘Daesh Fighter’ Killed,  1 Arrested in Kabul Operation

KABUL (BNA) Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said an ISIS fighter was killed and another arrested in an operation launched by security forces late Sunday.

During an operation launched in a hideout ISIS location by security forces of Islamic Emirate at the outskirt of Kabul city, Bagrami zone, a Daesh fighter named Yusuf was killed and another senior member of the group named Mohammad Agha has been arrested. said Mujahid on his Twitter handle.

He added that the insurgents were members of the ISIS group involved in attacks on worship places and power pylons.

In the past two months, several terrorist attacks hit worship places including mosques, and passenger buses, which resulted in killing civilians and wounded many.

Meanwhile, Islamic Emirate says a regular security operation has been launched to suppress the ISIS threat in the region.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan assured the international community, that will not allow Afghanistan to be turned by ISIS or any other terrorist group hideout place.
