Welfare Projects Execution Settled Social Problems of Six Thousand Families

Pul-e-Khumri (BNA) With completion of 21 public utility projects by National Solidarity Program of Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, the social problems of more than 6,000 families have been settled in various parts of northern Baghlan province.
Abdulrab Hakimi head of Rural Rehabilitation and Development department of Baghlan said BNA, the mentioned projects includes the constructions of 161 meters protected walls, 55 culverts, a water supply, 5 community centers, 3 water deep and semi-deep wells, gravelling of 10.5 km road, 280 meters of retaining walls, cleaning of 300 meters canal, a four classrooms school, a bridge and a cable bridge.
These development projects have been executed by financial assistance of Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development with 10% public contribution in 10 districts of Baghalna province, source added.
