Kabul (BNA) The First Laparoscopy device opened in Estiqlal Hospital in report Kabul yesterday.
Dr. Soraya Dalil, while opening the device said the device costs two hundred US dollars assisted by the friendly country Italy to the hospital.
Dr. Dalil pointed out that nine professional doctors will be trained by doctor Kamal to use the machine successfully within 8 months.
Pointing to the importance of using this medical instrument and operations, expressed that in spite of the using of the instrument it causes minor injuries to the body of the patient and feels little pain and can leave the hospital within 24 hours and after three days he/she can enjoy a normal life.
Dr. Ali Eyshan head of Estiqlal Hospital said it is not necessary that our patients go abroad for treatment and surgical operations.
He added, the hospital administration will try to provide ground for treatments of needy patients by this advanced medical instrument.
It has been said that Esteqlal is the first government run-hospital where surgical operation will be performed by using this advance medical instrument.
