Kabul (BNA) Over 53 anti-government militias including their 5 top commanders were killed during joint military operation in western Herat province.
Abdul Ahad Walizada spokesperson of Herat’s police headquarters told BNA reporter, the joint military operation since two day has launched in different parts of Shindand district of the province, in which 53 armed oppositions including their 5 senior commanders were killed and 14 others were wounded.
Some heavy and light weapons, ammunitions and military mobilizations belonging Taliban militants have been destroyed during the operation, Walizada added.
