Kunduz (BNA) the construction work on Ammo River Bank was completed in Amam Sahib District of Kunduz province the other day.
Mohammad Naem Nawabi head of Amu River management department said BNA, with completion of the project, the Batakashan, Shabati, Barzangi villages of Amam Sahib District and about 30 jiribs of agricultural land were saved from damages of flood.
Nawabi added, the project has been completed from the budget of emergency committee at the cost of 54 million Afghanis.
