Jalalabad City (BNA) At least 9 ISIS loyalists were killed following recent clashes with Afghan security forces in eastern Nangarhar province.
The ISIS adherents were involved on destructive and terrorist activities, which targeted and killed by Afghan security forces in Pacheragam district of the province.
Gen. Mohammad Nasim Sangeen commander of 4th national army brigade in the east of the country told BNA correspondent, the clashes happened in the framework of a military operation, in which 9 ISIS members were killed.
Dozens villages have been cleared from existence of the terrorist fighters as well, Sangeen added.
The military operation will continue until the district completely clean-up from being of ISIS adherents.
