Kabul (BNA) An expert on making explosive devices arrested in a military operation of Afghan forces in Kandahar province today.
This person has been arrested in a combined operation of Afghan and NATO forces from outskirts of Zheri district of that province.
NATO in a press statement said to BNA, this person was arrested while producing of explosive devices for rebels from his hideout.
Rebels smuggled Ammonium nitrite and other chemical fertilizers and explosive materials from Pakistan and used it for production of explosive devices, bomb and mines.
According to this statement, during the operation, hundreds kg of explosive devices were discovered.
