Kabul (BNA) Ninety Taliban insurgents were killed overnight during security and defense forces operations in various parts of the country.
Fowad Aman, Deputy Spokesman of National Defense Ministry told BNA reporter; 90 armed Taliban were killed and 45 others were wounded in clashes and attacks by defense and security forces in Maidan-Wardak, Zabul, Logar, Herat, Farah, Faryab, Jawzjan, Helmand, Baghlan, Takhar and Kabul.
Large quantities of Taliban weapons and ammunition were destroyed in the operation.
Security and defense forces also discovered and defused 31 various types of mines from different parts of the country.
