Kabul (BNA) Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah inaugurated the 3rd domestic productions’ exhibition in Herat on Tuesday, Bakhtar News Agency (BNA) reported.
According to the agency, during the opening ceremony, Herat governor, Mohammad Asef Rahimi said in the exhibition that 80 stalls of domestic productions put into display. The provincial governor added that necessary attention has been paid to Herat by the government over the last two years and we have noticeably witnessed presence of investors and private sector in the province as well, the agency added.
In the ceremony, head of industrialists’ union, Hamidullah Khadim, two lawmakers Farhad Majidi and Nazir Ahmad Hanafi and a provincial council’s member, Ghulam Habib asked the government to support the private sector and decrease the customs tariff, BNA continued.
Expressing glad on his trip to Herat, Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah asked the investors to further invest in Herat to fulfill the people and other provincial in-charges’ demands.
