Herat City (BNA) A member of provincial council was arrested accused of abduction in western Herat province.
Mohammad Askar Anwari the provincial council member, who involved in several abduction cases was arrested during a special operation led by National Directorate Security (NDS) personnel in the province.
Meanwhile, Anwari rejected the claim.
A local official in Herat, who asked not be named in the telephonic contact told BNA reporter, Anwari was detained by NDS personnel accused of kidnapping.
