Kandahar (BNA) 43 armed Taliban were killed in clearing operations conducted by Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) in Nesh and Ghorak districts of Kandahar province.
Zeya Dorani spokesman of Kandahar security command told BNA, in the operation 43 armed Taliban insurgents were killed, 11 motorcycles and a vehicle of them set on fire and 36 round of mines were also discovered and defused by ANSF.
According to him, the operation carried out in Baghak and Karezak regions of the mentioned districts.
According to another report, armed Taliban attacked on security checkpoint of Marof district, which faced with several resistance of police forces.
