Jalalabad (BNA) In the past three months more than 800 kilograms narcotic drugs and dozens liters of wine have been discovered and seized in eastern of Nangarhar province.
Police officials say, the drugs have been discovered and seized during special operations led by Afghan security forces in various parts of the province.
Gen. Fazul Ahmad Shirzad police chief of Nangarhar told BNA, 39 people accused of selling and smuggling of the drugs have been arrested and introduced to the court.
The people were arrested following special operations by afghan security forces, Shirzad added.
