Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani met with a number of European Ambassadors, EU Ambassador to Kabul, UN special envoy and NATO civilian representative for Afghanistan here yesterday and discussed peace process and ceasefire with Taliban, a presidential statement said.
The meeting which was held in presidential palace, the ambassadors praised Afghan government’s courageous move towards ceasefire and peace in the country and expressed their views with respect to extension of the ceasefire, the statement added. Meanwhile the president briefed the ambassadors on ceasefire management, adding there were national-wide demands for ceasefire in the country.
