Kabul (BNA) Pakistani politicians and the people of that country ask US and allies following a transparent policy regarding to Afghanistan crisis, consider not Pakistan as a corridor of terrorists and extremists passing in to Afghanistan.
The Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif recently visited Washington. As Rahimullah Yosofzai the Pakistani journalist and political analyst says the aim of Sharif’s visit was to acquire US support on Pakistan’s nuclear programs, because, the US and other western countries are concerned about Pakistani nuclear programs and dissemination of nuclear weapons.
US insists, Islamabad join non- proliferation of nuclear weapon convention, but so far, Pakistan has not acquiesce to US pressure and dependent it to India’s reaction in that regard. During his visit, the prime minister of Pakistan tried to change the Americans view regarding to its nuclear programs.
Even though, Pakistani analysts have introduce the nuclear programs issue of that country as the main goal of the visit but the statements of American authorities indicate that there were other issues on agenda to be discussed by the two sides. Still, Pakistan is the train center of terrorists and extremism and provided a proper ground for further recruiting, training, and spreading out terrorist and extremist networks. In addition to this, Pakistan has not yet responded the US authorities demand regarding to ending Haqan’s terrorist network that threaten peace and stability not only in the region but also in entire world.
Daesh also has opened its way to Afghanistan through Pakistan territory. Still Pakistan considered as the main factor of instability in Afghanistan, India and in the region.
Afghan politicians say Mr. Nawaz Sharif in his visit to America used his own diplomacy when accusations against Pakistan offered; once again, he expressed his readiness in starting peace negotiations between Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and Taliban and encouraged Afghan authorities to treat Taliban more peacefully.
The politicians also say that the joint statement of US and Pakistan indicates that Pakistan once again has hit its target and succeeded to attract the Americans view on their side. As the statement suggests both countries have agreed to adopt every measures against terrorist groups including Lashkar – Taiba and from now on no terrorist groups including Haqan’s terrorist group will have no the capability to operate inside Pakistan territories. In addition, Mr. Nawaz Sharif committed to host peace negotiations between Afghan government and Taliban.
Afghan politicians believe Pakistan prime minister once again succeeded to draw the attention of America toward Pakistan and introduce Pakistan as an effective country in developments of the region. The problem is this, in spite of the negative role Pakistan plays in the region but still America and western countries trust Pakistan. A big question arises needed to be answer.
Ahamad Sayed an Afghan political analyst regarding to the recent statements of Pakistani prime minister in Washington and his visit with American authorities says Pakistan is a strategic ally of America that implement the US policies in the region and Afghanistan did not consider as an alternative of Pakistan in the region. After some decades, America will support the Pakistani programs and support it as its strategic partner. Therefore, the Afghan leaders should not deceive by such statements because; Pakistan always acts against its commitments.
Fazul Hadi Muslimyar the speaker of the upper house of parliament confirming Sayedi’s viewpoint in general session of senate said that in peace negotiation process should not rely on Pakistan because it is practically involved in Afghanistan’s conflict.
America since 1950 always-supported Pakistani policies and since then has paid billions of dollars and 23 b dollars has paid during the last 14 years.
Pakistan knows how to use pressure on America and western countries. Pakistan never desist supporting extremism and terrorist groups and not hides its support from terrorism and extremism and some occasion proudly demonstrated to the world. In this way sends a message to Americans, westerners, Afghans and Indians give concession in order to be safe. As Pakistan consciously and symbolically organized the introducing ceremony of the new Taliban leader in Quetta and showed that the Taliban leader is with them and if you need the leadership of Taliban go through the corridor of Pakistan to find their address.
Politicians believe Pakistan will never end supporting Taliban because otherwise they will lose all their privileges.
It becomes clear from previous statements that Pakistan had been never honest regarding Afghan issue and consistently follows its ambitious goals and interests in the region. Therefore, these conspiracies should not be ignorant and underestimated. Abdul Khalil Minawi
