KABUL (BNA) The Ministry of Information and Culture is responsible to protect Afghan heritage with its cultural values say officials at the Ministry, on Monday.
Mawlawi Atiqullah Azizi, the Deputy Culture and Arts says the Ministry plans to hold an awards festival to honor from best authors, culturalists, and artists of the country for the solar year 1401
Azizi said the Ministry of Information and Culture is responsible to protect the Afghan cultural, religious, and national values of the country.
The best author, culturalist, and artist will be honored with awards for the solar year 1401, Azizi added.
The juries will evaluate the best works by launching a competition, adding the competition will be held on the occasion of Independence Day on 19 August, according to Azizi.
Deputy Azizi added that the Ministry of Information and Culture has started collecting the works of authors, culturalists, and artists for a month.
He said 188 workpieces of authors, culturalists, and artists have been collected from the center and the country’s provinces so far.
