Kabul (BNA) First Vice-President Marshal Mohammad Qaeem Fahim in his meeting with elders of Maidan-Wardak reiterated on the role of the people in respect to restoration of security and consolidation of stability in the province.
He considered Maidan-Wardak as important and added that positive developments in the provinces will impact other provinces so many efforts should be exerted in the province.
He stressed that good governance in the country can raise trust among the people and the government and will accelerate the process of work within the government.
During the meeting three elders spoke that security challenges and inattention to reconstruction in the province were the issues that representatives shared them with first vice president.
Marshal Fahim assured the elders of the province the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan is the servant of the people and will address their problems.
