$50 Million To Be Spent For Improvement Of Education

Kabul (BNA) A workshop titled preparation for operating program of 1391 was held by world partnership for education in the ministry of education yesterday. 
The workshop was attended by education officials of Paktia, Khost, Nimroz, Farah, Samangan, Kandahar, Zabul, Nooristan, Helmand, Ghor, Badghis and Daikundi provinces. 
In the opening ceremony of the workshop, Afghan minister of education Farooq Wardak said, “It is determined that 55.7 million US dollars will be spent for the improvement of education in the said provinces,” he told the participants the program would be prepared for 55 districts and centers of the provinces so that the ministry could take measures related to the improvement of education. 
The minister praised UNICEF for its assistance in implementation of the projects in the provinces.
