Eid Milad-u-Nabi Celebrated With Enthusiasm

Kabul (BNA) Eid Milad-u-Nabi (PBUH) was being celebrated on Saturday throughout Afghanistan with religious zeal and fervor.
For the faithful, Eid Milad-u-Nabi (PBUH) is highly regarded religious festival as they express gratitude and thanks to Allah Almighty for blessing the universe with Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
Some big gatherings were held in the capital Kabul and other provinces to celebrate the revered day. Ulema and scholars addressed the gatherings across the country, with some towns were tastefully decorated to celebrate the event in a befitting manner.
The Imams and religious scholars stated that the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is the only way to lead a better life.
They preached to follow the teachings of tolerance, understanding and respect for humanity. The Imams highlighted various aspects of the life of the Prophet (PBUH) during their speeches in the mosques, urging to follow the golden principles of Islam to achieve success in the world and hereafter. They also asked the Uelma and other religious scholars to put aside their differences and work for the prosperity of the country, adding that differences on trivial issues had promoted to wider conflicts in the Muslim Ummah.
