Kabul (BNA) Coincident with co memorial of the first anniversary of the martyrdom of the martyr of cause of peace, the peace and unity week started
BNA commentator writes on that regard: Exactly, one year ago, Professor Burhanuddin Rabani the head of Peace High Council and the leader of Jihad (holy war) and resistance lost his life in a cowardly, anti- Afghan conspiracy. Professor Rabani accepting the duty as the head of peace high council, devotedly served for ensuring peace and stability in the country, finally scarified his precious for the cause of peace and recorded his name in history of the country for ever.
This martyr of peace and national unity accepted the responsibility of the high council of peace while he was aware of the sufferings and panics, our oppressed compatriots tolerated because of lack of peace. He as a public leader with rich experiences devoted half of a century of his life in enlightening of people and for the prosperity of the homeland. He started his endeavor for ensuring peace and national reconciliation, while he was deeply aware of barriers and hardship on the way of achieving that noble aim, but in spite of knowing about the menace and problems on the way, he strongly believed that the only thing that could rescue the oppressed Afghan nation from this situation is peace and ensuring security in the country, so he was serious and determined on bringing peace and ensuring stability and reconciliation among all sections and ethnic groups.
The election of Professor Rabani as a head of peace high council was not accidental; the members of the council were aware of the knowledge, patriotism and stand of that great person of our era. The grand professor had been trained in school of humanity and Islam; he had the message of coexistence, patience, brotherhood, fair and justice. He knew that how to work with youth and teenagers in order not to trap in the snare of outside intelligence and in so called Islamic schools, not learn the ways of destruction of the country and explosions and suicide attacks which are against all Islamic instructions. He knew very well that how to deal with discontent brothers who are unknowingly fighting the government and how to encourage them to desist fighting and stop destruction and genocide.
The late Ostad as a man of knowledge and great and expert politician, made endeavor to defend and rescue the country from all kind political conspiracies and to provide an atmosphere avoid of all types of discrimination including ethnic, religious and linguistic discriminations and ensure a situation of brotherhood among all Afghans. He was willing to prepare a sound and safe ground for the children to study in order to be ready to play their role in building the country and to serve the society in the best way. He tried hard, to not his country become the scene of regional competitions. He wanted to open his path among civilized world and jointly work with them for peace and prosperity of mankind.
The ideas and goals which Ostad Rabani followed were Islamic and Afghani, so the enemies of the country didn’t want them. The enemies of the country considered professor Rabani as a grave barrier on the way of achieving their evil goals in Afghanistan, therefore, the plotted a conspiracy and assassinate this great man.
The terrorists in disguise of peace mediator, succeeded to assassinate professor Rabani but they cannot kill or terrorize his ideas and teachings, they will be forever and the successors of great Ostad using those ideas and guidelines will build their country.
At this juncture of time, bringing peace and ensuring security is an urgent need of Afghans, therefore, it is the duty and obligation of all Afghans, using the great heritage of late Ostad speed up their efforts for restoring peace and ensuring security in the country, in order to commemorate this hero of peace in way he deserved.
Also the people insist that the criminals who were involved in assassination of Ostad should brining in to the justice and the government of Afghanistan, in recognition and trying the criminal should use all possibilities and the influence of international organizations.
